The West Majatran War was military conflict in the Western region of the continent of Majatra. The conflict was between the Augustine Empire of Zardugal and the United Governorates of Cobura. The West Majatran War was born out of the continued Coburan aggression against Zardugal for its ethnic cleansing of Mallans, and the Zardic aggression against Cobura for its claims on the Coburan Governorate of Egato; the War officially started when the Augustine Empire of Zardugal declared war on the United Governorates of Cobura drawing in their respective allies into the conflict. The war lasted for more than four years before a peace treaty was signed.
Starting on January 7th, 4445, the Augustine Empire of Zardugal began Operation Sodom, a military operation dedicated to the ethnic cleansing of Mallans.
This briefly lead to immigration crisis in the United Governorates of Cobura in 4446.
After the crisis Cobura heavy criticized the Zardic governments actions, leading to international criticism of the state. Zardugal retaliated by invading Cobura on January 18th, 4452, beginning the war.
Course of the War Edit
The start of the war saw major Zardic gains. The town of Ezra was captured by the Zardic military, and used as a launching point against Cobura.
